Ulta Beauty

Today I went to Ulta Beauty for what I assumed would be a standard haircut. I paid $50 for a wash and cut, only to be informed at the very end of the appointment that blow-drying or styling would cost an additional $50. Apparently, walking out looking presentable is considered a luxury add-on. So instead of leaving feeling refreshed and confident, I left with wet, unstyled hair — looking less “salon-finished” and more “caught in a rainstorm.” The lack of transparency around pricing was frustrating, and the overall experience felt more like an upsell opportunity than a service. Needless to say, this is not an experience I plan to repeat.

The salon is absolute trash now. I got my hair done here for years but since all the old staff left, this place is just a huge disappointment. From the rude salon manager who is always making hateful snarky remarks to the inept scheduling staff who will contact you and change your appointment multiple times until oopsie! they actually Cancel the entire appointment and take an obnoxious seemingly drunk walk in in place of your kid who just wanted a trim. I booked an appointment online a week prior to the appointment. I chose the time and stylist available according to the options available. Should be easy, you make an appointment and show up, there's basically two steps to the process right? Wrong. The night before the appointment I get a call asking if we can come in earlier. I said sure,

I had a great experience yesterday at Ulta. I got an eyebrow tint as well as a lip and eyebrow wax with Karrsyn and she was so professional, kind, easy to talk to, and fun! She knew what she was doing and made me feel comfortable throughout the process which only took about twenty minutes! I would totally recommend going to see her for any appointments you might have at Ulta. Everyone in the store was kind and considerate of me and I would also like to note that Laura checked me out at the front and she was also sweet, personable, and so intelligent about the store itself. Great employees, and a great environment.

LOVE this place, especially since I had poor experiences before coming here- related to getting my hair trimmed. Haley and Becca were wonderful; now, I go to Karrsyn S.- she is lovely and great with curly hair. I highly recommend this place!

The lines always crazy during sales but for how packed it can be, goes reasonably quick, in my opinion. Staff has always been super friendly & helpful to me. I appreciate them. Pricey of course but I do like the cleaner options available of bare minerals, burts bees chap stick. There is plenty of parking but depending on the day and time, may have to park further out but there is plenty of parking and several different entrances. Ulta is at the front of the malls main entrance. They have some really great sales sometimes! I recommend them.
