I would not recommend this location. I accidentally left my ID at home but had a clear, valid photo of it on my phone and was willing to show it along with my Ulta account for verification. The policy states “bring a valid ID,” not specifically a physical ID. Despite that, I was refused service and told only a physical ID would be accepted. This is a makeup store not a cigarette or alcohol retailer yet I was treated like I was trying to do something wrong. I had to drive 20 minutes back home just to retrieve my ID, which was a completely unnecessary inconvenience. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen, but the real issue was the attitude. Happy New year 2026! My year has truly started off with a bang. I had no idea Ulta offered hair salon services, I learned of this location for one of my clients in the up upscale boutique industry. I was skeptical, but research and decided to give this location a call. On New Year’s Eve, if not less lol. I was blessed to be directed towards Terricka M . Provided a consult on New Year’s Eve and profound my services on New Year’s Day. This has never happened before in my entire life. Not only was she polite, professional, timely, detailed, and listened to my needs, she is incredibly humble!!!! Executed my vision with perfection. I searched the reviews on this location out of curiosity and was not surprised with the low ratings. My first time shopping in store at ulta was.. interesting. When I walked inside, it didn't seem very welcoming. No one offered to help with fragrances, yet lingered around with me in eye view. When I finally asked for help, it was very lackluster and it felt like the employee thought I was wasting her time. I asked about two items, yet it felt like I was asking for the entire store. I asked about a specific lip gloss, and she handed me the lipstick version of what I asked for. I picked up a different product of the same brand, which happened to be what I was actually looking for, and the worker said "Thats something completely different" with the most annoyed tone and an eye roll. Had the best hair experience. Terrika at Cumberland Ulta was fantastic. She gave me a relaxer and rinse that didn’t burn and totally relaxing. She will be my stylist. Thanks so much!

I entered the store when it opened at 10 am, and I was greeted. I asked if anyone on the floor could assist. She stated that someone would be in soon. I walked around the store for 10 minutes patiently waiting. I walked past two employees, one of whom was the manager, and she said nothing to me. The lady in the front told me someone would be with me, passed another employee as I was wandering around, and she did not speak; she continued to eat her breakfast behind the desk. After waiting 5 more minutes, I walked out. The store was not crowded, but it was clear no one wanted to help me.
