Emily in the hair salon was great! Yesterday I needed to book two last minute appointments - one to get my brows done, and the next to get tinsel for my daughter's hair. I was able to get in with Emily both times. This gal was running the entire salon area yesterday. She had back-to-back appointments and was doing it all herself. Thank you to Emily! We appreciated her service and she did a great job with both things!!!

I almost never leave negative reviews — I prefer to highlight good experiences — but this visit really missed the mark. I stopped into Ulta Beauty today with my young daughter, who was doing what young kids do best: touching everything in sight. As a dad trying to make a quick purchase, I already felt a bit out of place. I knew exactly what I wanted (a specific perfume), but it was locked in a cabinet. Despite being one of the only men in the store, several staff members saw me and seemed to actively avoid helping. After waiting longer than I should have, I finally grabbed a tester and brought it to the front just to ask for a boxed version. What really bothered me — and the reason I won’t be back — was the checkout experience. When I declined to provide my phone number, the clerk told me

I was struggling to pick out a blush shade when Lori asked if I needed help. She then suggested a purple blush, which I’ve never tried before. I ended up absolutely loving it! Then I needed help finding a concealer and she shade matched me so well!!!

Staff was very monotone and negative. Im not expecting a sunshine upbeat but coming in with staff having a mad face and neutral tone ruined the experience.
