I’m so mad! as a black woman i am severely disgusted but not surprised. i simply went for a wash blow dry and trim and never again. my hair wasnt fully shampooed, not even sure what products she used, the blow dry was half ass and the trim? yeah bye . maybe the young lady is still in school but i wont be back for salon services EVER

Last year, on Thursday, December 11th I dashed into my neighborhood Ulta in Silver Spring, Maryland to purchased make-up and brushes in preparation for our family Christmas photo shoot the following Friday evening. Admittedly, outside of mascara, lipstick, and occasional eye-liner, I do not wear make-up. For special occasions and professional photos, I always pay to get my make-up done. But this year time was NOT on my side, and there was no way for me to get my make-up professionally done before our shoot. Thus, I was going to have to be my own MUA. I went to this store yesterday to pick up makeup for a company event. Since I don't wear makeup, I got overwhelmed by the choices. I asked for help and the manager (I did not get her name) went out of her way to relieve my anxiety. She introduced me to Doll and booked a makeup appointment for me today. Doll listened to everything I wanted and gave me a natural look. The cost for hair and makeup was reasonable. And even though my boyfriend was getting tired of waiting, he liked my makeup. I highly recommend this Ulta and its staff. I will definitely go to them again for my future hair and skin care (and cosmetics, if necessary) needs. Thanks, Ulta!!!

Good shopping experience always the ladies on the floor are great and helpful. However, Naiylah at the register was rude and passive and even tossed my purchased items into the paper bag. &. Considering its makeup.. my reason for distaste and anger should be apparent.

I have never experienced such unprofessional and unhelpful service at an Ulta location. I arrived with a list of items to purchase and spent nearly ten minutes walking through the store without seeing any associates on the floor. When I finally encountered an employee, “G. Marie,” (short, curly, blonde hair with glasses) her demeanor was shockingly discourteous. It was evident she had no genuine interest in assisting customers. Rather than providing guidance, she dismissively asked what I wanted, repeating the question in a condescending manner when I explained I needed help locating products.
