I’ve been trying to boycott Sephora by shopping at Ulta. But OMG they can’t handle a lot of things. Even exchanges seem like a foreign concept to them and they don’t know what to do with the rewards points customers accumulate. If you need to come back with a product (even if you didn’t use it at all) they’ll make you feel awful like they should teach you a lesson. I’m a high volume cosmetics consumer and Ulta is just not it. Their customer service is some of the worst out there. I’ll just go to drugstores and buy straight from the brands’ websites from now on. Ulta lost me.

I'm a frequent shopper at Ulta (Diamond level) and this is my closest store. One of the reasons I shop at Ulta is the generous return policy. I walk into this store to do a return and immediately I'm asked for ID--before I even put in my phone number for rewards. I've been asked for ID before, but only for point redemption. When I asked why, I'm just told "policy", even though I've recently shopped at other Ultas in the state (including New York City) and returned items. Fine. My Ulta account has my preferred name on it, a very common nickname for my name. They won't let me do the return. I tell them it's my preferred name and show them a credit card with that name on it. Nope. Not allowed to return. The only way they'll let me is if I change my name on my account. I don't want to be greet

Just bought lipstick and lip liner. I loved the service. It had been over 5 years since I bought lipstick. The sales associate on the phone was great! She was patient and answered all my questions before coming to the store. Once I got there the sales associate recognized my voice and promptly brought Ixi to help me. Ixi was so helpful and patient. She used an app on her phone to make sure the lip products were safe for me to use. She helped me to find the colors I wanted. I will be returning.

I had a wedding and for the first time made an appt with Ulta to get my hair styled. I do not know how to do my hair and have hired my hairdresser to style my hair when needed. Putting full faith into whatever happens, I arrived early for my appt. knowing i was on a time crunch and the stylists were short staffed, the time i had booked my appt for was plenty of time but not too much time either. I was seeing all the stylists very busy and it did start to panic me and the timing as i have a lot of thick hair and it takes a while to style. My stylist, Daniel was so professional and nice and the most important part-talented. He not only had me out on time, but made sure my hair was better than I imagined and held up for the entire night. Daniel, and the Port Chester Team-thank you!!!
