I had such a great experience at Ulta Beauty in Oceanside! The store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked with so many amazing brands. The Lancôme section was especially wonderful. The products were beautifully displayed, and the staff there were so knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to explain the skincare and makeup options and helped me choose what works best for me. I didn’t feel pressured at all — just genuinely supported and taken care of. Overall, the team is friendly, professional, and patient. The checkout process was smooth, and the whole experience felt positive and enjoyable. I highly recommend this location!

I want to give it five stars but customer loyalty is really not something you would require here. It's an In-N-Out store. At one time they carried my favorite makeup I heard, but as I understand and know you lose your loyalty points after a year. Boo boo thumbs down. That's why I shop at Sephora then now to do a customer right

The cashier Klara was very unhelpful. I told her upfront that I received items as a gift and would like to return, exchange, store credit. Anything she could do. She over explained and gave me the runaround about how she couldn’t do a return without proof of purchase. Totally understand. She was so stuck on “can’t return” that didn’t even bother offering another option. I gave her the number associated with the gifter’s account and she was able to locate the purchased but then said she still can’t process the return without an order number because it was an online pick up order. I clearly said it was a gift, a gift receipt wasn’t included and I didn’t want to reach out to the gifter to get the order number, I’m not trying to let them know I’m returning the items they got me. I’ve always liked this Ulta location, but the customer service has gone downhill over the past few months. Today was especially disappointing. I was bounced between multiple employees, none of whom were actually listening to what I wanted. They kept directing me to products or formulas that didn’t match my needs, and the color matching was off—rushed and honestly inaccurate. Instead of taking the time to understand what I was asking for, it felt like they were more focused on giving quick answers and moving on. At times, it even seemed like they were saying whatever would make it sound like I should be satisfied, rather than ensuring I actually got the right product. I would have respected it more if they had simply said they didn’t have what I was looking for. Honesty goes a long way. I

Charlie was AMAZING. So sweet, welcoming, and helpful. She made my return a quick and easy process even offered to shade match me when return to shop. She made me feel comfortable and seen recommended some good brands for my undertone, and that meant more than she probably realizes.
