My appointment was scheduled for 10 a.m., and I didn’t leave the salon until 4:16 p.m. over six hours in the chair. During that time, my stylist bleached my hair twice in one sitting. I trusted her not just as a professional, but as someone who’s been my go-to hair and makeup artist for the past two years. We’d never had any issues before. I’ve always shown up on time, paid in full, and tipped generously in this case, $30 in cash and another $25 on my card, bringing my total to over $200. At first, I told myself I was happy with the results. But once I got home and saw the back of my hair, I was shocked. It just wasn’t what I expected not after all that time, money, and trust. I went in to buy perfume with a gift card that has a bunch of brands (Including ulta) that says "run as credit". I went up to the employee (two toned hair, piercings, etc.- I tried to call to get the name but because of hipa they could not give it out, this is the only way I can describe her) to check the balance of the card, and was immediately greeted by the rudest attitude. "You need to activate the card online" It LITERALLY says run as credit on the front of the card and nowhere on the back says anything about online/phone activation. I called my coworker who I got the card from to confirm and she said that you can run it as credit. Went here looking for curly hair products and to look for concealer and lipgloss. I was greeted and asked if I needed anything right as I came in. I thought it seemed nice and helpful and told them that I knew where to go and thanked them. I proceeded to take my items and then spent a few minutes reading the labels for curly hair products as my daughter and I do not have the same curl pattern. A lady came from the back and stood beside me and said “Okay, What are you looking for?” I told her. She started pointing at products and saying “just pick one” I told her I like to take my time and that I was in no rush. So she just stood there. Grabbed on gave it to me. The Northbourough store is the best in the area compared to others! This store has a wide selection of designer makeup lines such as Channel and Dior. I find this store also carries lots of new less known name brand products which are really fun to explore. Overall this store has a great flow and lightning which makes the shopping experience much better. The staff is professional and very helpful too. I have found that other locations lack everything this store excels at. I have never heard those annoying products alarms beeping while shopping here. In other locations they are constantly beeping without any employee doing anything about this so it drives customers right out the store. Therefore, there are a lot of reasons to drive much further to shop at this location.
