My daughter had a hair gloss service done by an elite stylist, Lorena, to cover her highlights. Unfortunately, the gloss was applied incorrectly, leaving visible horizontal stripes of highlights showing through. We returned two days later—before my daughter had washed her hair—to see if the stylist could at least apply gloss to the areas that were uneven. The salon manager, Dena, acknowledged that my daughter’s hair did not turn out well and offered to have it redone. However, there was no one available at the time, and she couldn’t find an appointment that wouldn’t require my daughter to miss school. I use the salon. My stylist is Nadia. She's great. I used the same stylist for years, they retired. I've been coming to Nadia for a few months and I'm not disappointed. She takes the same caring approach as my former stylist. She has done a gray covering, haircut, blow out and highlights over the past few months and all of these services were great.

I usually love shopping at Ulta and have always had positive experiences, but my visit today was uncomfortable. I was repeatedly approached and asked if I needed help multiple times, even after saying I was fine. At one point, it felt less like customer service and more like being watched. As a woman of color, the interaction made me feel singled out, which was disappointing. I hope this location can work on providing attentive but respectful service so all customers feel comfortable while shopping.

I meant to post this a month ago but I’ve been shopping at this Ulta for years now. A month ago, I came in desperately looking for something to cover my tattoos with. I was helped by Arielle who was amazing! She helped me find everything I needed, making recommendations and even testing out some different products on my tattoo! She was seriously an angel. Everything she recommended to me worked great. Thank you so much!
