Alexis was AMAZING, my best experience with an Ulta employee. Soon as I entered she greeted me and asked me if I needed help. I promptly responded yes and told her I needed help finding a good setting spray, foundation and blush. She gave recommendations for setting spray and blush but specified she struggled in foundation. HOWEVER i gave miss ma'am a brand and she color matched my BLACK skin on the first try. A fantastic employee, she deserves a raise.

Elly B ruined my hair one week before I was the maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding. I went for all over color and bang trim. I’ve had bangs for years. I always cut them myself, and Elly B reminded me why. The first question she asked was if I wanted to be able to see my eyebrows. I said no. The first cut she made was almost an inch above my eyebrows. She kept cutting trying to fix it. They looked horrible. She also slung black hair dye everywhere. It got on and inside my leather purse; there’s a hair color stain on my keychain. Worst salon experience I’ve ever had.

It's ok though I didn't contact corporate initially but I guess they want me to now🤷🏼‍♀️ Oh, ULTA… where do I even start? This location is an absolute dumpster fire. Their “curbside pickup” spot? Buried in snow. Clearly clearing it is far too advanced for their skill set. So I go inside, stand there long enough to question humanity, and finally someone decides to help, only to refuse giving me the order I already paid for because my ID was in the car. Yes, apparently a confirmation email, order number, and proof of purchase aren’t enough. I must have missed the part where picking up your own order requires top-secret clearance. The associates there are always very helpful! I needed a new 'It Cosmetics' base, but couldn't remember the color. The associate guided me to the cashier who was able to find the color based on my past purchases with my phone number. A big shout out🤗for the team at the Newport Kentucky location!

I had the pleasure of having a young woman help me with a foundation, and I must say, she was just wonderful. I’m positive her name was Alexis or Alexa. She was very friendly, and to my delight she found my perfect shade on the very first try. It’s not often you come across someone so knowledgeable and pleasant. Thank you for making the experience such a joy.
