I scheduled a makeup appointment to try and see what will work for me. Having never been into makeup I'd just spent way too much on a bunch of stuff that really wasn't working! I was feeling frustrated and defeated. When I arrive Kimberly was waiting for me. She let me explain all my frustration needs and wants. She then disappeared for 5 mins and came back with a bag of supplies I had little hope for. Because I had a tall order. I wanted a full face for complex mature skin on a budget. I told her I didn't want to tell her my budget because I didn't want her to take advantage of me and blow it all. That was me assuming how sales people are! Joy was just an excellent employee to work with. She took care of me efficiently and quickly. Even helped me set up my first ulta account at the store. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Had an appointment at 1:00 at the Ulta Salon. When I booked my appointment online, it estimated 1.5 hours for the service I was requesting. Knowing this, i wne ahead and booked a nail appointment with the nail slaon in the same strip center for 3:00. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told the stylist would be with me when she could. I waited until 1:30. No communication from the staff. No explanation. No service. But I heard them tell someone on the phone they could get them in immediately. I was really hoping I had found a new salon that could deal with my curly hair. I was wrong. Back to searching.

This review is for this store but it applies to all stores here in Maryville and Knoxville Tennessee. Making a purchase was fine and the store was very well kept. No issues checking out. However, returns is another matter. I needed to return 1 item. This store and a store in Knoxville would not let me return the items unless I created an account. I had no intension of providing my personal information subjecting myself to their marketing. Once we got past that they still would not provide me my refund unless I provided my name, email, and phone number. I had the receipt and simply wanted the refund to my credit card. Clearly, this is an Ultra Beauty ploy to sell your information and continue to market you. Additionally, they said I could only return the product to the store where

Christopher was amazing and so informative today! Me and my fiance were trying to find a new scent and he explained everything we needed to know about perfumes. We learned so much from him and his customer service is amazing and should be recognized!
