I had one of the worst shopping experiences at this Ulta location. There were no employees on the floor to assist. It felt like I was wandering through chaos. The makeup section was completely unorganized, especially the Juvia’s Place display, none of the colors matched or were in the right spot. It took a MAC makeup artist (who wasn’t even from that section) to step in and help me find the right shades, she was the only friendly and helpful part of the visit. Eventually, the manager had to come out to assist too. Between the lack of customer service and the mess on the shelves, I would not recommend this Ulta. Definitely not the shopping experience you expect from a beauty store.

I usually shop at this Ulta Beauty location and have never had issues until today. I placed an online pickup order and arrived within the allowed pickup window, but was told my order had already been picked up. After showing my barcode and ID, staff checked the cameras and confirmed the order had been given to the wrong customer. While I appreciate the apology and the time taken to investigate, I was disappointed that no additional compensation was offered for a mistake that was entirely on the store’s end, especially after the extra wait time. For an example it could of been a small courtesy item, or sample items to show an apologetic gesture. 5% or 10% discount for my next shopping trip. Security guard who was on shift for the evening of Oct 11 loves to racially profile. They followed my mom and I around the store in every corner we went to shop and yet didn’t follow anyone else. We didn’t shop in peace without being watched. It got to a point where I even stared him in the face cause he was way too close to me. It immediately made me not want to spend any money here and we left. Save your money and avoid this location. Do better, it’s 2025.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this store. The employees were dismissive and not helpful when I asked for assistance. There were long lines, and no one communicated what the delay was or offered any guidance. Better customer service and clearer communication would make a big difference.

Editing my below comment. I just read all of the horrible reviews for this store and now I know why they need security inside the store. I live in Laurel so this store is in my community. I say we boycott this store from now until January 2, 2026 because they do not deserve our business! Buy your products at another location untill 2026. I purchased an Anastasia Brow Pencil at Ulta in Laurel MD Town Center 5 days ago and realized when I went to use it Monday morning that it was light brown instead of dark brown. I took it back today to swap it out and was told that I couldn't because I didn't have my receipt nor do I give my phone number to merchants to avoid a plethora of spam calls. I was told I couldn't swap it, get store credit, or a refund. Ulta couldn't look up the purchase using
