I can’t say enough good things about Marlaina M. at the Ulta Beauty Salon in Totem Lake. She has been amazing with my daughter, who has special needs. From the very first visit, Marlaina was upbeat, friendly, patient, and genuinely kind. She immediately put my daughter at ease and treated her with so much respect and warmth. It’s rare to find someone who not only has the technical skills, but also the emotional intelligence to truly connect with people and meet them where they are. Marlaina goes above and beyond to make the experience positive and comfortable, and it means more to our family than I can put into words. We need more people like Marlaina in the world. If you’re looking for a stylist who is talented, compassionate, and a joy to be around, I highly recommend her. Ulta is luck

I had such a great experience thanks to Atoosa at the register! She was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start and actually took the time to talk to me instead of just rushing me through checkout. She recommended a product which actually ended up being exactly what I needed, which I really appreciate. Our conversation was so natural and friendly, and she made the whole experience feel way more personal. Customer Service like this is rare and definitely deserves recognition!

Just got my brows waxed and im so dissatisfied With the cleanliness at the brow bar. The esthetician did not clean her work station before or while i sat there. She did not sanitize her hands before grabbing product or before touching me and it looked like she was just testing makeup products because she had makeup all in her nails and on the back of her hand. Her nails were filthy and really disgusts me when estheticians don’t sanitize their hands before starting because her hands were dirty and then grabbed product which contaminates all the single use products she used on me. She also did NOT use gloves while waxing me which is required in Washington state. I experienced the same exact thing in Woodinville. This is basic education in esthetics for estheticians before waxing. Sanitation

Elle and Lizzie were so incredibly helpful. I was kind of a fish out of Water looking for blonde hair products for damage, cause I’ve recently gotten a lot of blonde put in and ELLE took the time to show me her favorites and explore a couple other options and the one that she recommended, I must say has absolutely changed my life and my hair with fighting it and bringing it back to life thank you so much. Lizzie was so sweet helped me find perfumes for the whole family for Christmas and they are both just incredibly knowledgeable. They definitely know all things beauty and all things kindness. Thank you so much Ulta Kirkland for such an amazing staff. It’s always a pleasure to go to this location💕💕💕

I prefer getting a handful of beauty supplies from Ulta over other merchants. However, associates never ever ask me if I need any assistance while shopping. The sanitary stations with alcohol and tissues are always depleated of supplies. Worst of all when I quickly grab products and purchase them, I realize they've been used. Please stock the alcohol spray and tissues and keep an eye on the open products.
