I went into the store with my two kids and was looking for a new foundation. From the moment I walked in (struggling with a double stroller lol) Thomas was quick to let me know if I needed any help at all to let him know. I haven’t really been into makeup in a few years and was unsure what I was even looking for. Thomas took his time and was so patient helping me find what I needed and color matching me. We ended up going with a foundation by Lancôme and to say I love it is an understatement. I used the foundation today and I absolutely love it. It matches my skin perfectly and is just the coverage I needed. I’m so thankful for Thomas and how kind and helpful he was. Definitely the best experience I’ve had in any Ulta.

I purchased gift cards in the Greer store for my nieces for Christmas (spent over $300 that day in the store in gift cards and products). They came in a pack with 2 $25 cards and then a bonus $10 card. I took one of my nieces shopping to spend her gift cards and they would not work. The girl that checked me out was friendly, but my gift cards were showing as inactive. She called the blonde manager over to help. The manager proceeded to have me get out of line and told me I NEEDED TO STEP ASIDE AND BE THE ONE TO CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER! I called the phone number she gave me and was told since I purchased the gift cards at that location that the store needed to handle it (which makes perfect sense). I had a very uncomfortable experience at the Ulta Beauty in Greer, SC, and it was due to the behavior of the store manager. From the moment I entered the store, the manager repeatedly hovered and watched me in a way that felt excessive and targeted. As a Black woman, this experience was especially upsetting because it felt like I was being treated as a suspect rather than a customer. I did nothing to warrant that level of attention. No customer should feel profiled, judged, or made uncomfortable while shopping. A beauty store should be welcoming to everyone, and this experience was the complete opposite. Ulta needs to seriously address how customers—especially Black customers—are treated at this location. I left feeling disrespected and will think twice before returning.

Bri did a great job with my hair! Layers are her favorite thing to do and she indeed did a fantastic job! On a late Friday afternoon, she took her time, listened to what I wanted and she rocked it! Please try to keep and find more hair stylists like her👏🏼

Not at all treated in a professional manner today in Ulta. I feel they treat you unfairly by your appearance. So disappointing. I purchase a lot from this location. And this is not acceptable!!!! Five people huddled at front of store. When they should have been out and about helping the customers in the store. I ask for sample of a men’s cologne. Instead of saying they didn’t have the small free samples. They went and got me a spray of it on a piece of paper. Be more professional!!!! And LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER-WANTS!!! I want the same help as the next person that you help. No discrimination. I buy my husband $500 plus every Christmas here. So dissatisfied.
