Ulta Beauty

There are some rude employees at the Ulta in the Danbury mall. My friend and I walk in and we are greeted by an employee who asks if we need any help, we said we were okay (because we knew the exact products and where they were located). Shortly afterwards we realize we are being followed by a different employee. Obviously we are confused so we stop, and she proceeds to say not to open any of the products packaging. We are confused because 1. we definitely did not open any products. and 2. we believe thats wrong and not pleasing for the person buying it. We did not do anything remotely similar. So we say that we didn't and she doesn't say anything but still subtly follows us, and I even think she let other employees know because at least 3 were looking at us weird. My friend and I didn't f

If I could put 0 stars, I would. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Was ignored multiple times by the one associate on the sales floor. Went to the counter to ask for help where 4 employees stood there not helping, stating “we don’t have keys” to unlock the perfume. To which one of them magically had keys the whole time we were waiting and eventually unlocked it. Then they wouldn’t honor the discount on the signage in front of said perfume. Getting help from anyone at this location is always a struggle.

I ordered items online for pick up. When I opened the package, I realized that the serum and cream I ordered had been tampered with and used. In fact, the serum was not even full, and there was no dropper in the box. What sort of store packs used beauty products for an online pickup? Disgusting. Then, I called the company service line. At first, they said they would handle the issue via email, sent me an email, and asked me to send pictures. I sent the email, and the rep immediately replied that I have to go into the store to get the items replaced.

Ulta @ Danbury Fair mall. Staff was following me around like I was a criminal. As soon as I left the store I regretted making the purchase, so I went to Sephora to buy the exact same products (& more because no one followed me around I was free to browse) and returned the original items to ulta. Go to Sephora instead!! It was about 3 staff members including the store manager on 10/22/2025 in the morning. The girl at the register was kind.

Terrible customer service, very rude manger Tina told me to get back on an hour long line my birthday week for my birthday gift when my family was waiting for me, because her new employee couldn’t find a QR code when I checked out spending nearly $200 and it clearly said it was my birthday on my account, as if they would want to make me a happy customer!
