Ulta Beauty

Went to the store today after throwing away almost all my makeup and brushes. I really walked in thinking I would do it on my own because I was too shy to ask for help. Until Erika asked me if I needed help, I was ready to say no but I’m so glad that I said YES! She helped me with foundation and concealer. Let me know what I was paying and if items had a discount. Helped me with bronzer and blush. Showed me how to apply the makeup products. Erika was very nice, patient and helpful. She guided me through eyebrows and brushes. I’m glad she was the one helping me. Would totally ask for her if you go into Ulta. She’s also an aesthetician, arched brow specialist. I could go on and on about how of a great experience I had but honestly it was thanks to Erika!

I had an unbelievable experience at this Ulta. I asked if a perfume came with a gift, and instead of answering politely, the cashier ( she is hispanic,kind of chubby)rolled her eyes and said, “Then you should get it at Macy’s.” I asked her, “Why are you so rude? Are you the owner of Ulta?” She claimed, “Yes, I’m the owner.” Even if she were the owner, no Ulta owner would ever treat a customer this way. When I asked for her name to report her behavior, she clearly said “Sophia”, showing no concern for her rudeness. Even in front of her manager, she continued being disrespectful, and after I spoke with the manager, she shouted from behind me, “Are you happy now?” It’s no wonder so many people have complained about their employees’ behavior. I was looking for the smashbox face primer and asked one of the workers who was standing by the door for help. (Her name was Sam) She walked me to the smashbox section and walked away she was just standing on the other side by the perfume. I asked her again for help checking for inventory on one of the primers. She scanned the barcode with her scanner and told me they were out of stock then walked away. I really wanted to try the primer so I decided to log in through the app and checked to see who had it in stock and the Ulta app showed this location did. So I went searching the store until I finally found them. They were on another display. I took them and walked up to her to show her and she seemed nervous not thinking I would check myself. This location always disappoints me! I went in specifically to smell a new fragrance I was interested in buying. Like always, they had no tester bottles out. I asked an employee (they had plenty in stock so I was hoping they’d put a new one out) and she was just like “we only have the testers that are out” Several other fragrances the tester bottles were empty. I did end up finding a different one than what I came in for that I liked and decided to purchase. There was a sign on the display that it came with a feee gift. I went to the register and was told they don’t have the free gifts! Why have the sign out then? The lady who checked me out seemed to have an attitude so I didn’t argue it and just paid for my purchase and left. I’ll be traveling to shop a different location in the future!

I had such a great experience at this Ulta! One of the associates (I wish I’d caught her name!) was so helpful — I came in looking for one foundation and she guided me toward another that ended up being absolutely perfect. She was incredibly sweet, made me feel completely comfortable, and really knew her stuff. You could tell she genuinely cared and wanted to help me find what worked best. This location is always clean, well-stocked (which I really appreciate compared to some others!), and all the girls are super friendly every time I visit. It’s clear the team here takes pride in what they do. Keep up the amazing work — you’ve definitely earned a loyal customer! 💕
