Ulta Beauty

Ulta has been my one stop shop for a while for everything makeup and beauty services (brows usually). I needed a haircut really bad before a trip and decided to go with Windy who is the sweetest hairstylist, totally listens to what you ask for and delivers! Looking forward to the next appointment already :)

Windy did a great job with my haircut. I have very thick hair, and it’s always been difficult to find someone who knows how to cut it properly—especially layered cuts. Many stylists tend to cut it straight, which I’ve never loved on myself, but Windy truly understands how to work with layers and texture. I’m so happy with the result and will definitely be back. She’s also incredibly sweet and made the whole experience wonderful.

Windy is my usual stylist and she is amazing! She knows how to create a great guest experience while ensuring you get what you want or even need. She is an expert at hair styling and always looks out for your best interest. I always feel taken care of when I'm in her chair and she is so nice and fun to talk to !! She always helps me pick a new look each time that not only meets my expectations but also leaves me with something new to take away. Sharing some photos of my previous visits with her:

A few days ago, I went to get a haircut with Windy, and I still can’t find the perfect words to express how grateful I am for her. She is incredibly professional, so dedicated to her craft, endlessly patient, and genuinely loving in the way she treats her clients. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt understood, cared for, and completely confident that I was in the best hands. When she finished my hair, I was honestly blown away. I left feeling beautiful, happy, and deeply satisfied — more than I ever expected. Windy has a gift, not just for hairstyling, but for making you feel special and listened to. I’m already planning to return for more treatments because I truly trust her with my hair. Windy, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will always choose you! 💖✨

I have been going to Ulta in Colma for several years and spend hundreds of dollars a year, because it was fun to shop for beauty products in a friendly, nice atmosphere. It smelled nice when I walked in. The experience is important! Their prices are NOT cheap, in my opinion. For example a skinny eyebrow pencil is $36. A simple haircut + tip is easily over $100. Their atmosphere and customer service used to be nice like Sephora. But recently the staff has become more and more unfriendly, dismissive, or can't be found to help. The lady manager in Colma has the worst attitude, she's unfriendly and looks annoyed when approached. No wonder the long term employees don't care. I had 4 haircuts from 4 different stylist (all long-term, higher priced stylists) in which I brought photos of the style
