I went to Ulta Beauty looking for help choosing a foundation for my skin tone, but the service felt rushed and not very helpful. The associate only showed me one product and didn’t offer other options. I even had to ask for more foundation to apply on the other side of my face so my makeup wouldn’t look uneven. When I asked about a more affordable option, she simply told me to go to another section. I expected a more attentive and professional experience. I hope Ulta can improve the level of customer service and provide more personalized help when customers are trying to find the right products.

April was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—truly impressive. What stood out most was the time she took to explain each product she used in my hair and how it would benefit me specifically. She also made thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences, which I really appreciated. After not going to a salon for two years, I finally decided to trust someone with my hair… and unfortunately my first experience did not go well. I asked for layers and ended up with a random chunk cut out of the back. I was honestly so upset. Today I went to Luz at Ulta Beauty in Cape Coral, and let me tell you — she is a MIRACLE worker. She took the time to actually look at what happened, explain what she was going to do, and somehow blended everything perfectly without making my hair super short. My hair was down to my butt, and she was able to fix it without chopping it all off. That takes real skill. She gave me beautiful, natural layers that flow and actually make sense. BEWARE OF WORKERS PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR CHILDREN! On February 23, 2026, my wife had an appointment for a haircut and had asked me to come supervise our young children. I had showed up a few minutes after her appointment had started when a woman (we later found out worked there through a third party and her name was Maria) came and sat right next to us very randomly. She complimented my daughter and soon after I realize she tilts her phone up and starts taking pictures of my daughter. I felt extremely uncomfortable and infuriated. About 10 minutes later my wife was done with her haircut and I had let her know what I had witnessed and while my wife went to pay the lady approached my daughter again on the other side of the store with more compliments. I left and got my children OUT OF THERE ASA

Abbie! Abbie! I cannot say enough good things about Abbie! I went in, with lots of questions and a bit of anxiety about it all. She immediately could see my panic, helped me feel at-ease and was kind to my concerns and addressed each one. I was able to get what I needed and I was so impressed with her attention to detail. Definitely will go again!
