I went in looking for both a full coverage and daily lightweight foundation. Gabby (maybe Gabbie) was absolutely amazing. She took her time to color match me with both products, finding my perfect match. Then she went through and did my whole face so I could be sure that this was a product I was going to love when I got home. She used a primer and setting powder to show me the best way to keep my look lasting all day. This morning I was able to use the tips she gave me for a very easy and quick morning look before work. 10/10 would recommend her, and actually already did to the girls at work when they complimented me this morning! Well worth the trip to the boulevard! I will be looking for her for my next makeup need.

The store manager was extremely rude. My sister and I went to return a product, which we purchased at Sephora, but thought it was at Ulta, the cashier in turn was very polite about the confusion we had, but the store manager who was there also, “trying to help” went straight to the other employees to gossip about what happened, going so bold to them, looking at us, and pointing at us like we were not looking at them. That was disgusting and so disrespectful. It says a lot about her as a “person.” The next time we went there, (mind it was a different day) she was treating us which such racism. The other employees were so nice and helpful, except her.

I went twice this month and had very positive experiences with the staff both times. I’ve been dealing with some recurrent acne from birth control and needed something new for my skin care. A blonde employee who said she’s been doing this over 20 years saw me looking lost in the skin care aisle and helped me pick out a 3 step skincare routine which has been working wonders for my skin. I’m not sure her name but this was on 11/15 at probably 3pm. Thank you to her !!

It’s the weirdest thing, but my last two experiences at this specific location have been really offputting. A few weeks ago, one cashier just kind of took my phone out of my hand to scan my e-gift card, which I thought was odd and as someone who works in retail, I’d never do that without asking. And this week when I went in, the cashier was somewhat rude and when I was on the floor looking for a product several workers walked past me without a word so I basically had to find the product myself. They wouldn’t make eye contact either and then proceeded to just talk to themselves. One taller girl with glasses and bangs did ask me if I needed help but then asked another woman at the same time, so I just told her to continue with her since the other woman seemed to have more questions. Yesterday, i was in Ulta and i had a wonderful experience! Carol Jean is excellent! The whole staff and managers gave me great service and helped me with the product. I would higly recommend this location. I also purchased items from the store which were related to the great service i received in the salon the week prior.
