So last minute and much needed … I wanted an overall big cut for several months. I work out of town from my home so my schedule doesn’t really allow appts ahead of time… but got one with just a couple hours to wait. I also must note I have natural curly hair and not every stylist understands curly hair.. Mikayla Ortega definitely understands curly hair and pixie/ bob cuts… and that was what I was wanting. I would definitely recommend her and will drive 4 hrs to have her do my hair again… before is where I started and the amazing end result!!! Thank you so much Mikayla!!!!

This review is for the salon. I have given myself a few days to see if I would be less upset, and if anything I’m more upset. I’ve cried many tears. I don’t want to call the stylist out my name, but I will tell the story. So I made appointment, came in and I told the stylist I wanted a few layers and at the very end of the layers to do a small razor cut, just at the tips only! So what this does for my hair is it helps it to kind of flip up on its own or easier without much effort. I will add that I have one hand, so ease of styling is essential for me. She immediately made a face and said oh no that’s not good for your hair. I don’t wanna do that. She said I can do the same thing with shears Is that OK?? I came into the store last week looking for a fragrance for myself and a gift for my friend. Luckily Ryan was working in the fragrance department. Not only did she suggest the perfect fragrance but she was also knowledgeable about the latest scents! She was a life saver! Much appreciated Ulta!

Great customer support and wonderful friendly staff! If you’re going to get any waxing, tweezing or make-up assistance in general, ask for Lacie. Today was their re-opening day and I took my wife to look at some make-up and one of the staff paired us with Lacie. It took no time for us to get comfortable and she helped my wife get a new foundation, recommended us mascara, eye shadow and even waxed her eyebrows with no appointment (but I recommend getting one because they will be busy with the re-opening). Highly recommend for your beauty needs and or presents for the wife.
