I just left Twst Bar, and it was my first time there. I had such a lovely experience from start to finish (found them via Instagram). The receptionist was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything, which immediately made me feel at ease. The stylist was so gentle while washing my hair—very mindful and caring—which I truly appreciated. I received the full-service shampoo and treatment, along with small flat twists, and the entire process felt relaxing and professional. My hair came out neat, healthy, and beautifully done. I’m so glad I chose Twist Bar for my first visit and will definitely be returning!

I had the incredible experience of attending a Pop Up Twist Bar event in Baltimore. Angela did my flat twists with mini twist style and it was so cute! I normally only wear twists to prepare for a twist out but the style was so cute they lasted and I kept them in for 3 weeks!!! Angela is such an intentional and thoughtful owner! She truly respects and honors hair care work. Salons like this keep the natural movement a live and thriving! I went natural in high school but now as an adult with two children maintaining a healthy natural hair care routine has become very difficult. I am so grateful for places like this that remind us the beauty of our natural hair! My daughter also got mini twists that were adorable! She enjoyed her experience as well.

I had a great experience with this salon! From the time I walked in the owner greeted me and was very professional! I was the third person in line for my service but I didn’t have to wait long to be taken back for my wash. They were efficient, did a great job on my locs, and they are reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning!

This was my 1st time wearing my natural hair. I really didn’t take care of it while it is in braids. They were the kindest people. I was seen right away. Fast service, was done in a hour. They didn’t have any one to trim my hair. After I was done with the dryer, I was done but I was expecting them to oil my scalp. It looked dry.

I highly recommend if you are looking for a place for quality hair care without struggling to book an appointment or pay a deposit. The wait wasn’t long and everyone was friendly. The quality of the twist can differ depending on who you get, but they made that clear in their marketing. After having a poor experience my first time, they appreciated my feedback and offered a redo. I was able to bring my own mousse (I didn’t like the one they had) and the stylist even advised me on a better style. I really appreciated that. So for anything I will go back for the customer service and the shampoo conditioner service (which was fantastic)!
