I had my first cut and style with Melissa yesterday and I must say she is quite the gem. She is absolutely talented and brought my hair from mid back up to shoulder length, in an amazing style that complements my face and feels amazing. I haven't felt this good in a long time. Melissa is also a very gifted colorist as evidenced in pictures she posts on the Twisted Roots facebook page. Her work is beautiful, and you can tell from the pictures that others leave her chair feeling top notch, just like I did. Melissa is a fantastic master stylist. She listens and does exactly what I ask for but my hair is always better than what I expected. I have a ton of hair and the coloring is always on point. Highly recommend you visit Twisted Roots. My entire family has sat time and time again in Melissa’s chair.

I haven’t gone to a hair salon since moving up here and I finally said what the hell. They gave me the new girl and I enjoyed my experience there but after I washed my hair I noticed that my hair had been fried by the dye job. And two weeks later I’m seeing that my hair is screwed and I’m now seeing all the grey showing back up. I now have to find a new stylist and I’m heartbroken that my hair is ruined. I don’t know how I’m going to fix this brittle frizzy mess now. I cry every day over it.

I have been faithful to this salon for years. I live almost 2 hours away and have several places nearby, some in walking distance, that are nice but not Twisted Roots level of amazing. I mostly go for color and shaping as they understand my love for a gorgeous, long lasting red and a rocker touch. My hair is very long and thick and without this, a hot mess. I go through periods of keeping up on lashes as well. They took the time to experiment when I reacted to the glue, giving appropriate advise then using the tools needed to safely reapply. That alone would make me return knowing they care for quality and safety in addition to making clients feel their best before leaving the salon. I will continue the drive just to stay in their care!!!
