I came in right when they opened at 9:00 AM for a haircut. Since I was a walk-in, they took the customer who arrived after me first because he had an appointment — which I completely understood. However, I ended up waiting over an hour before another barber finally called me back. She even confirmed there were no appointments ahead of me. I was already seated, draped, and discussing the haircut I wanted when another employee interrupted and said she couldn’t cut my hair because she had an 11:00 appointment coming in. At that point, I felt like my time had been wasted, so I left and went to Butler’s instead. They were busy when I arrived but still managed to get me in with a barber within about 20 minutes. I come here often and use Michelle on my son’s hair. This time Kelly gave him a cut. Rushed my son’s haircut and patched it up. Once I said something she started being very rude. During the haircut I stood next to my son the whole time. After I said something and she was “gonna fix it” she told me I can’t be standing there. When I told her I’ve been standing there the whole time she said “I must not of been paying attention “ Horrible haircut, Horrible attitude. Medium Fade with a hard part is what I asked for.

I had liked this place before today. Today, I went to the place and asked about joining the VIP. The manager told me even if I join today there is still going to be a 30-45 minutes wait when I could see she was not cutting anyone's hair. She just told me she needed a rest when I have been going there for so long and was in a hurry.

My son visited Tune Up twice and unfortunately had disappointing experiences both times. We specifically booked with Kelly because of her positive reviews. On the first visit, although the appointment was scheduled with Kelly, Kim ended up cutting his hair. She didn’t follow his haircut request and refused to trim his beard as asked, saying she didn’t “suggest he do that” and proceeded to cut it according to her own preference. We gave it another try and again booked with Kelly. When my son arrived, Kelly questioned why he had scheduled with her and handed him off to Kim—despite not being busy and his appointment being confirmed with her. Made an appointment. Showed up early and checked in. Sat there for 20 minutes after my appointment time. Tried to talk to the lady at the front desk and she wouldn’t stop playing on her phone to talk to me. Goodbye! Don’t respect appointment times and you don’t get my money
