Tuba Braiding

Facts. Sat 6 hours in the chair. Paid $300. Had 2 people working on me for small knotless boho with human hair ends. This is the result. Will never go again. Called and texted pics to Touba and was told to bring “nail glue” tomorrow for a “couple of them.” Walking around and hair just falling out on floor. I’d rather pay to get the ends securely braided in somewhere else than go back there where they just roped the human hair around the synthetic vs taking the time to braid it in…then blunt cutting the synthetic hair off the end??? Know what to expect.

Get you hair braided here at your own risk. The people are unprofessional and extremely rude. They are high priced the work is mediocre at best. They dont like Americans especially women, they just want your money they don't really care what you hair looks like or if you like the work. I wish this was just my opinion I wish I were lying, no this is facts. There are plenty of other braids shops save yourself the headache and take your money somewhere else.

Tuba has been my go to spot for Aftican braiding since 2004. Recently, Aunta has braided my youngest daughters hair. She has done an excellent job. She was very patient with my daughter. Pricing is very reasonable.

I have used her 3 times and all three times we’re not good experiences. First of all the staff is very rude including the owner, they don’t keep to time or their word. The prices are ridiculous for the attitudes, and they cheat by making the partings even bigger. I noticed that they don’t try to make sure you’re okay or comfortable. If you complain about your hair, a style or ask them to adjust something they immediately get mad and basically stop doing your hair. If they manage to continue to do your hair they will transfer the aggress to your head, start talking and complaining amongst themselves. It’s definitely not a good attitude no approach to one’s business so I won’t be returning.
