I’ve been seeing Ashley at True North Salon & Spa for nearly a decade, and she is pure magic with scissors and color. Every appointment feels less like an errand and more like a recharge for my soul. Her salon is absolutely adorable—cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. It doesn’t just look beautiful; it feels like home. Ashley is the most talented stylist in the Northland, hands down. She’s friendly, professional, sweet, and genuinely kind. She somehow always knows exactly what you need, and you leave not only looking amazing but feeling amazing too. The new location at True North Salon & Spa is sunny and stunning! The vibe is old school charm with modern and retro flair. Super cool. The stylists and staff are so kind and knowledgeable. What a treasure in the heart of town ♥️

Set in a old schoolhouse, where every step on the old wooden floors creaks and groans, resides the True North Salon. Normally they do not take walk ins, but early Tuesday I was in luck. Isabel had an opening and she went to work. The haircut was great, but her work on the ears and the unibrow was what made her service special. I will book in advance when I return next year.

I have been going to True North since Ashley opened the salon. I love the atmosphere and the love and support you can feel when you walk in the door. The stylists support each other and love what they do. They also listen to your hair concerns and/or goals and make customized, tailored recommendations just for you. The scalp and hand massage are also a huge bonus.

First time in True North Salon and it was a great experience! Katie greated me when I walked in with a smile and offered something to drink. Stacy just met me, after a short discussion she took me to the sink for an amazing wash and scalp massage. ( I would make an appointment just for this). She cut and styled my hair better than I could ever imagine for just meeting me. We enjoyed a pleasant conversation and she made me feel like I've been there before. I would highly recommend True North Salon for any styling needs you might have. I will definitely be coming back!
