True Nature Holistic Retreats

This restorative nature retreat was just what I needed. Dave and Alana created a wonderful experience and customized each session with thoughtful intention based on our needs. They truly met us "where we were at" and gave us practical takeaways for home and our current busy season of life. It was the perfect balance of activity and time to reflect, between the powerful experience of breema to gentle sunset yoga on the deck, and quiet hikes through the stunning property - it was rejuvenating and incredibly impactful. The food was nourishing and delicious vegetarian dishes, and they accommodated gluten free request with ease. Also recommend checking out Dave's brimming art gallery. Breema was performed in this space and felt such an ethereal lightness when it was complete and opened my eyes

If I could express in words how welcoming Dave and Alana were, I would write a book. A book on every reason why; if you are reading this, it means you need to disconnect from whatever life is feeding you and get yourself to Millersburg. I came with my parents, and we had a quiet, thoughtful, and lovely time together. It's one of those decisions you cannot think twice about because I’m super grateful that it gave us the deep rest we needed to springboard stronger in our daily activities. I have had the pleasure of restoring my mind, body & spirit with Dave & Alana on a solo retreat every year for the last 4 or 5 years. I cannot recommend their retreats enough! They are two of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! Every year when I return, they make me feel so welcome & treat me like family. It’s two days of delicious homemade (usually homegrown) meals, restoring my mind through yoga and meditation & relaxing with massages and breema. The one on one chats with Alana are just a bonus! :-) I highly recommend their retreats to anyone that needs a reset or a break for life!

Over the past two years I have been honored to spend time at True Nature. Alana and Dave are masterful at their craft. The space and instruction they provide is curated for relaxation and insight. I've attended several silent retreats and cannot say enough positive things. It's a peaceful, loving place - the land is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. I loved the meditative practices that were shared and the food was nourishing and exactly what I needed to come "home" to myself. Alana and Dave are beautiful people that want to share their passion with others. I cannot wait to schedule another retreat with them.
