It’s difficult to properly describe the time I spent at true current bodywork, but I have to try because people really need to know about this place! I wasn’t sure what to expect because I honestly didn’t know what a craniosacral massage was, or what reflexology was(I still don’t). I walked out of my appointment floating on air after having an unbelievable meditative/spiritual/healing experience. In the simplest terms, it’s a combination of meditation, massage and foot soak, but there’s so much more that can’t easily be put into words. What a truly amazing experience I had at True Current Bodywork! I booked “the healing collection” appointment, which is a 90-minute session that includes craniosacral therapy, spinal flow technique, an organic foot soak with 12 different herbs, zero-gravity sound therapy, and full-body reflexology. Before today, I could not have told you what any of that meant, except for maybe the foot soak. What I got from today’s session was so much more than I could’ve ever imagined. I probably still cannot describe to you exactly what craniosacral therapy or spinal flow technique is, but I do know that the feelings of release I felt today were like nothing I’ve ever experienced! I thoroughly enjoyed the healing modalities that Kara provided during my session. True Current's space is incredibly relaxing, cozy, and inviting. Kara made me feel comfortable and at ease the moment I walked in, allowing me to release stress and tension in my body as she worked her healing magic. From the sound therapy, reflexology, & herbal foot soak treatments I experienced, I felt amazing afterwards. I can't wait to go back!
