Trolley Barn and Parking Lot

The FREE trolley was very fun & took about 40 minutes to go around both Little Rock & North Little Rock (which we learned are 2 different cities! Ha) There are multiple stops where you can get off & on & goes over the Arkansas River. Very nice way to learn about the history of downtown Little Rock & experience what streetcars were like in the past! Will definitely do again when back in Little Rock

Free trolley rides! Can’t beat that. The conductor even provides a tour while passing all the historic places. They came by every 20 minutes or so and they go across the Arkansas river to the south side so it can save a pretty good hike. They are air conditioned too which was great since it was about 90 degrees outside.

We had a wonderful ride today. The driver/tour guy was excellent and informative. When the tour concluded, I left my big sun hat on the trolley which was crucial for the rest our vacation. After finishing lunch at a restaurant around the corner, we saw the same blue line street car returning. As the driver was making a right turn, he spotted us and pointed to something behind me. As it turned out, a passenger found the hat and gave it to him, and he in turned placed the hat on the railing of the restaurant where people got on and off the trolley. We are very grateful to him and had a photo taken for the good memory of the people and city that treated us so nicely during our two hour visit. We'll surely come back soon.

Miss Virginia was our driver for the trolley. She was fantastic! Cannot rave about her enough! She made it a fun experience because she knew the history and the new culture of the area! Everyone should meet Virginia;)
