For Mother’s Day my hubby purchased two 1 hour Swedish Massages for both myself and my daughter. We went on Saturday to have our massages. My appt was at 10am and my daughter’s was at 11 with LMT Kattia Helton. A Swedish massage is about relaxation. The Salon and Spa was very neat and clean and Kattia did a great job with my massage. I had a little pain in my left shoulder that I never mentioned to her, but during the massage she picked up on it. She said this shoulder has some inflammation in it. She concentrated on that area. Afterwards she recommended I put ice on the area and follow up with some heat to help with the inflammation. I will definitely book with her again. It was an enjoyable experience.

I scheduled a 1 hour Swedish Massage with Katie. The massage therapist was very kind and welcoming, but unfortunately the service did not feel like a massage at all. I specifically requested deeper pressure, but that was not provided. In addition, no intake paperwork was filled out and no questions were asked about allergies or preferences, which raised some concerns for me. While the atmosphere was comfortable, the overall experience did not meet my expectations.

I’ve been to this salon several times now and have had excellent service each time. Emily has done my hair as well as my boyfriend’s daughter’s hair most recently and she did great! Honestly the best hair cut I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go in a couple of weeks for my next appointment! I highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable! Adding a pic of my hair 3 months after my last appt and I still think it looks great!

Olivia, Olivia, Olivia! My Wife has had her hair done with you on three different occasions now. And each time she comes home raving about what you’ve done with her hair and what a great personality you have. She came in today and got her haircut and colored. I’ve worked all day today came home and my wife is jumping around extremely happy beaming with excitement over her hair and what you’ve done and I have to agree. It looks amazing. Keep up the hard work and great cuts and styling. You have a client for life.

Mary Hodge is a great hairdresser who is very skilled in working with curly hair. In my experience, this is not a skill that all hairdressers have. She is also flexible in working with me when things happen unexpectedly. I give Mary my highest recommendation.
