Treating the Root

This place has become my healing space. I receive monthly massage therapy from Leslie and today had my first acupuncture treatment with Mary for arthritis in my hands. These women are true professional healers, highly accredited and very personable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. And their website allows you to book your own appointments. I can highly recommend!

Leslie is very professional and personable. She provided a calming and relaxing atmosphere as well as knowledge of the therapy she was providing. I look forward to my next appointment.

I had Mary for acupuncture yesterday and from the moment I walked into the cozy, ambient environment I was at ease. She was friendly, her voice was soothing, and the room was clean. I fell asleep during my appointment after the little needles were placed and slept like a baby last night. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional acupuncturist! :-)

I had my first acupuncture visit at Treating the Root with Mary Chiappone. I walked in the door and the room was welcoming, calming. I met Mary, who is kind, considerate and she listened, with eye contact (which I find so respectful) and we talked a while about what was going on with me. Mary gave me information about the benefits of acupuncture and we proceeded with the treatment. I recommend Treating the Root to anyone who is looking for compassionate care. I had a massage here a year ago and that woman (I’m sorry for not remembering your name!) was also amazing. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about coming here!

I have been to Treating the Root twice now and I am very pleased with my visits. Leslie is great and is intuitive to my needs during a massage. I felt so much better after my second massage. I really like that Leslie is continuing her education and learning new techniques. I will continue to conference for massages.
