Transformations Barbershop

I don't go to barbershops because I'm bald and I shave my head. In winter I grow a beard and I wanted to get it trimmed because it got overgrown and bushy. Living in South Boston I assumed there weren't many selections for a barber to do a good beard trim. I googled some shops in Durham and Lynchburg looking for a shop that I could trust. It was a hassle searching and figuring and I saw this shop on Google here in town and took a shot. This man did a fantastic job on my beard. He understood fully that I didn't want anything fancy and just wanted a simple trim. He did exactly as I asked and was extremely friendly. He was actually booked up but worked me in the day of due to cancelations and I can see why he stays booked up. If I ever need my beard trimmed or shaped up I will go to him again

I would highly recommend this barber shop. When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted. He keeps the conversation going will styling your hair. I went in looking for a medium fade and let me tell you. Phill did an outstanding job with the fade and also does hot shaving cream on back of the neck and uses a straight razor. Keep it up Phill!!

Hands down the best barber experience I have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable barber that understands the mastering of making sure you leave feeling like a million bucks. He takes pride in what he does. I booked my next appointment before I even left the barbershop. Highly recommend!

Phil does a great job. I love being able to book an appointment online in advance and also to be able to pay with a credit card. It’s wonderful to have a good barber in town!

Great experience! My two teen boys 12 & 14 wanted the new textured and faded type styles and Phillip knew exactly what they wanted! Very professional, yet friendly Christian young man, and we will most definitely be back!
