I came into Touched by Ty salon after having knotless braids in for over four months, and my hair was truly a bird’s nest. From the moment I reached out, Ty was kind, professional, prompt, and her communication was absolutely on point. Her salon suite was very clean, organized, and the atmosphere was honestly angelic. Ty truly has growing hands. She took exceptional care of my hair, educated me on the health of my hair, and explained exactly what I need to do to maintain healthy hair underneath my sew-in. My sew-in came out seamless, beautiful, and natural. 10/10 experience—I recommend Ty a million times over!

While the install was completed, the lack of follow-up professionalism overshadows the entire experience. I was ghosted when attempting to book my K-tip removal, despite repeated outreach. Given that K-tips are a premium service and many stylists will not remove another stylist’s work, this placed me in a very stressful and unfair position for weeks. The disregard for my hair health and complete breakdown in communication was disappointing and unexpected. I strongly encourage anyone considering booking to clarify removal policies upfront and protect themselves. High-end services require high-end professionalism—this experience did not meet that standard.
