I’ve been going to Tophatters for years, and I can’t recommend it enough. When my son was younger, haircuts were a nightmare. He would scream and cry at other places, but Nate was the only person he trusted to cut his hair. Nate is incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. Because of him, what used to be a stressful experience became something we actually look forward to.

First things first, this is an old school limited staff barber. You're not getting hand massages or hair washes. What you are getting is superb service, and a great steady hand. Nate goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, and comfortable with the style decisions you make.

Every cut is clean, sharp, and exactly how I want it, no matter how long it’s been, he always remembers my style. Beyond the skill, what really sets him apart is his character. He takes pride in his craft, treats every client with respect, and creates a comfortable, friendly atmosphere in the shop. You can tell he truly loves what he does. After 13 years of growing my beard and trying to take care of it myself, I finally decided to have it professionally shaped up. And man, Nate provided the best experience. His work is meticulous, the environment is very sanitary, and the atmosphere is relaxing yet engaging at the same time.
