They really messed up my hair! So I went to this guy asking for a cut and color. I wanted what’s called a bixie and the color to be a dark ginger. He cut my hair first which I thought was strange, it was shorter than I originally wanted. He said it was “more fashionable”. I didn’t really mind, the cut looked nice. Then came the color. He put bleach directly on my scalp. He kept walking away mid application to answer the phone. When it was finally time to rinse, he washed the bleach out and left me at the bowl for 15 minutes while mixing the color. That’s when I heard the whispering, they kept coming back to pull at strands of my hair. I’m guessing to test the elasticity. Today was my first time visiting Tony Hair Salon. I got a same day appointment based on the review pictures of layered cuts. I went in wanting to keep my length, get long layers and remove the heaviness of my Latina hair. Well… I feel like I hit the salon jackpot… I couldn’t have asked for a better cut! Tom really listened to what I wanted, viewed my inspiration images and articulated back his plan of action. It felt like we were on the same page the entire time. He really knew what he was doing with my long hair. I completely love my layered haircut and left a very happy customer! Their website doesn’t work—when I tried to open it, a warning popped up saying “your iPhone is hacked,” and there was no real information about the salon. However, because of the 4.6 rating, I decided to give it a try. From the photos and the name of the salon, I assumed Tony was the only stylist, especially since no one asked me who I wanted to book with when I scheduled over the phone. I expected Tony, but I was assigned to Andy instead. Andy cut my hair in about 25 minutes, very simply and in a rushed manner. Andy only does exactly what you ask him to do. He knows the most basic techniques—how to cut and thin—but those are skills that any entry-level stylist can perform. He completely lacks styling awareness and has no sense of design. My housemate and I trust Tony’s Hair Salon—and Tom in particular—for consistently beautiful but low-maintenance haircuts. Previously, we each tried other salons in the area but found they couldn’t deliver. Once we found this place, we haven’t looked back.

Worst haircut I've ever had. I asked for a straight cut, even showing examples of non layered hair, and to frame my face. He added layers which I absolutely did not want nor ask for and my hair is so uneven on both sides and is not symmetrical at all. I read reviews before choosing this place and thought I'd be in good hands but this is the worst haircut I've ever had. And when I contacted them to make it right, they offered for me to come back in and let him "fix it"! There shouldn't be anything that NEEDS to be fixed but given that there is, I'd never let the person who screwed it up to begin with touch my hair again! He'd have to cut it even shorter to even it out and it's already shorter than what I asked for. And to add insult to injury, my hair grows incredibly slow so I'm stuck with
