Went in Tom’s Barbershop this morning 5/12/22 around 9:15 am to see if I could get an edge and a taper before work. As I went up the stairs I saw the barber (I was later told his name is Tom - the owner) giving me the oddest look. When I entered the building I explained, “don’t be startled I am coming to see if I can get a taper and an edge”. The barber responds “No, you can’t get service”. There was 1 customer in the chair that I could not tell if person was a man or woman. I asked, “why am I not able to be serviced because I want same cut as your current customer?” The barber response is that he doesn’t service women, he don’t even cut his sister’s hair. I explained to him that this is 2022 and his action appears to be very discriminating because my money spends just as a man does. His
