Clean salon! I normally go to the Oxford location however I came here today because I wanted to try out the new spray tan booth that was just put in. Gave me a really nice tan and is better than the original! Only downside is it was $7 more than the old one… The screen on the tanning booth said it was not on and to see front desk associate for help & when I told her that it said that she seemed ticked off and said “I still have to turn it on” which I found kind of backhanded since I explained to her that I haven’t tried the booth yet.

Terrible. I go tanning all the time. I DONT tan here because the staff never lets you do for the FULL time you as a customer are paying for. If I am a paying customer I should be able to tan for the full session and get what I paid for. I don’t recommend going here if you are looking for a good tan at a reasonable price that doesn’t restrict you. It’s your choice to go tanning and a cashier at a tanning salon does not have the right to tell you that you don’t have the tanning experience to be able to go for the time you are paying for. Tommy’s is going to lose a lot of customers if they keep this up. Terrible customer service.

My wife just loves this place. She's always raving about the cleanliness of the facility, as well as the friendly staff at the check in desk. The only time she ever had to wait, and it's usually for a short period of time, is when they offer free weekend tanning. She has a membership subscription, so they usually give their members priority, hence the shorter waiting time. Overall, she definitely recommends Tommy's Tanning in Ansonia.

Came here about two weeks ago, very friendly and clean environment. Lady at the desk was super helpful, especially for someone like me who rarely goes tanning. Highly recommend it! On a busy road but lots of parking
