Tip Top Nails LLC

I went here yesterday I got the worst manicure I have ever had. I have been coming to Tip Top on and off for the past 10 years and have never experienced this. First of all, the shape is awful and the polish is ridiculously thick. I corrected her on the shape a few times but eventually just gave up. Not even 12 hours later and the gel polish is lifting and STILL WET underneath. I paid almost $90 after tip for these gels with chrome added and a regular pedicure. I was visiting home and no longer live in the area so I can’t even go back to get them redone and I know they won’t refund me, so unfortunately this was money wasted. I will never go back.

Penny the owner of the store is incredibly rude. I have never been treated like this by any worker in my entire life. Incredibly passive aggressive, made me cry because of her words and was treating me like a child because I didn’t like the color of my nails (the book color I picked was different on my nails). I went to relax and left extremely anxious because of that horrible human. I also used to be a loyal customer and one time got a fungus on two nails because of how gross it is. Do not go to this salon.

Was given a gc as a gift, so tried this place for the first time. It was the quickest and worst pedicure I’ve ever had. I was finished and at the dryer before the 2 people next to me, even though I was seated after them. The bottom of my feet feel like sandpaper, my nails are not the same length or shape and no polish was put on the tips. Walking away from the remaining gc balance and will return to my regular salon to pay to have them fixed / done correctly.

Edit: for Athena! Thanks girl for completely going against my review, I wonder if they paid you for it? I’m glad that you’ve never attempted to take your acrylic off… But when they last over four weeks and have fungus underneath them, you kind of have to. :) xo I wasn’t going to do this but I can’t believe how horrible my experience was (even over a month later). Came in on 12/22/23 for dip. Received gel instead because the woman didn’t listen to me. My nails were so horrid and she let me walk out even after complaining twice. I paid 45 dollars for this fyi. No nail cuticle cleaning or anything. (Pictures were after she fixed them..) The lady was so rude to me saying my nails were too short for dip or anything else. I dont recommend. For us they used mma (harmful for ur nails, ur supposed to use ema). I went w my friend, her mom, my mom and my sister. Their (sister and friend) cuticles bled a little. We had major ring of fires. And my nail tech made my nails super chunky. My friend had to go somewhere else to fix her nails
