Tim's Barber Shop

I am very sorry to report that Tim the Barber, Tim Long, has passed away. As I wrote in my previous review, Tim was a no-nonsense barber and something of a character. But he gave good haircuts for no-nonsense customers at a very reasonable cost. Tim is a barber, not a stylist. His shop is a barbershop, not a salon. He cuts hair, without a bunch of small talk. I've been going to him for 8 years and only recently has he said more than five words to me. But I go there for a haircut, not a social visit. So if you want a good haircut at a very reasonable price from an old-school barber, Tim's is the place to go. And don't call him, he's busy cutting hair. Just go.

Called Tim’s barber and asked what the wait was and he’s said I can’t predict the future and hung up on me. Than I called back and just mentioned I have a therapy appointment at 11 and it was 10 ocklock at the time so could I get a haircut before than by any chance and hung up again. He than took his phone off the hook so I couldn’t call back to find out if I could get a haircut. Very poor way of handling customers and questions. Cracks under and pressure

Zero stars if I could. Called to ask how much a regular haircut was and if it was okay to come in and was laughed at told there was three people ahead of me and hung up on. I called back and asked if he only takes walkins or was that a no for today. He said only walk-ins and hung up for a second time. You will never have my business.

Tim is old school. Dry humor, a bit brash for sure but he is a great barber! If you want a no nonsense haircut you’ll be in good hands.
