Thrive Sports Therapy

I found Mari as I was looking for an ART therapist. I had chronic neck and shoulder pain for years that chiropractors and massage therapists weren't helping. Within my first visit, I felt exponentially better and after 6 visits, the pain has virtually disappeared. I appreciated Mari's approach in that she'll use ART, massage, or any other exercise that will work with your body. Her schedule was really flexible and she really helped to educate me on my body's well-being. She is very affordable for the work that she does (buy the packages!) as I haven't had to pay for any follow up treatment for at least 3 months. I highly recommend Mari!

I am an advanced-level tennis player who plays competitively and I initially came to see Mari about some recurring repetitive stress issues in my back and shoulder brought on by serving. I've been back for a number of sessions and in addition to helping alleviate my shoulder and back problems, Mari has been able to help me with some knee issues that I've had for a while, from years of playing sports. It is hard to find massage therapists that really understand the body and even harder to find therapists that understand "your own" body and what specifically needs the work. That is where Mari "thrives", in be able to work on your specific problem areas and keep you functioning no matter if you are an everyday athlete or just a weekend warrior. She is way more than just a massage therapist, i like to call it just "therapy" when I see Mari.

I came to see Mari for a chronic shoulder pain problem caused by infraspinatus tendonitis that was limiting my workouts, my sports and my basic enjoyment of life. Mari quickly assessed my range of motion, asked me a bunch of questions and then got straight to work. I had no idea what A.R.T was, but as soon as she described it to me it made sense. And it really works! I'm happy to say that I'm back to strength-training, basketball and golf. She's also great at loosening things up with chair massage.
