I’ve been going to Valerie at This Hair Place for years. I have very limp, straight hair. Val somehow magically gives it body and volume and it looks good even though I refuse to spend time with blow drying and product daily. I appreciate her honest advice and her skills with cuts and color! When my mother was visiting this year, she didn’t want to go a week without her usual weekly wash, blow dry, etc. I got her an appointment with Valerie and she was very pleased. Prices are VERY reasonable. Personally, I try to tip well so I don’t feel I’m taking advantage.

Valerie did an amazing job with my long hair! She was very clear and kept checking in with how much I wanted trimmed. I love the fact that they have the option to just get a wash and a trim, blow drying my hair takes ages.

My hair is unique, fine and thin. Valerie looks at what I like and brings it to pass in a way they suits me. She doesn't just look at a picture and say it could be done. She tells you if it will work and how it will work. She's super honest and wants you to look good in your hair.
