This Corner

My teen son has been seeing Nina for haircuts for a couple years. She is wonderful, listens to him, gives styling suggestions and is so warm and kind. The space is lovely and staff are always welcoming and hospitable.

Nozomi has taken me from bob to my first pixie and back. Those big cuts and all the transitional cuts in between have been superb. I share loosely what I’m thinking and Nozomi helps tailor it to suit my hair and face shape. After each haircut, I browse books, greeting cards, stationary, home items, snacks, and whimsical items to explore for gift giving. I’ve even purchased books for children here! I love the overall vibe at This Corner—it is friendly yet professional.

Absolutely love all my experiences at This Corner —Nozumi is a truly talented stylist and colorist who gets it. The cut is effortless, the color is gorgeous, and she somehow nails exactly what I want every time. I always call her the magician as she works magic on my hair! Nozumi and her team are top notch.

When I moved to Philadelphia a few years ago, I shopped around for a place to get my hair cut eventually arriving at This Corner and have been going back ever since. Feels like home there—everyone is so nice and a variety of beverages are offered when you arrive.

Lovely cozy salon behind a quaint storefront in the middle of Rittenhouse Square. You are greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. No pretense, no attitude just a comfortable and welcoming space. I would follow my stylist and now my friend Christina to the moon. You are guaranteed a great experience and a few laughs.
