The Wright Barbershop

Man it was storming so bad my truck almost flipped in the parking lot. I went inside to find Mr. Wright still giving cuts with NO ELECTRICITY. With no power in the building and one battery powered light he still got me right. Cut was still better than these other Shreveport barbers could do. I’ll be back💯

I came in on Tuesday around 5:00 and there was one barber there with a client. I needed to get my son's hair cut. He greeted us and said he had to leave to take care of some business so if I could we come back tomorrow around the same time. So we did the next day around the same time. Two barbers were there, one was leaving and the other had a client. It was only around 5 o'clock. They close at 6 supposedly. The guy wasn't there from the day before like he said he was. The barber with the client didn't even offer us to stay and he cut my son's hair. He didn't even speak to us. SMH. I try to support black businesses, but stunts like this make me want to go elsewhere.

Went in on a Monday (typically a day off for barbers) for a last-minute haircut and could not have been more pleased with the results. I was in from out of town and had a photo shoot that I was ill-prepared for, but they got me squared away! I always fear my first haircut at a new place, but these folks did a stand-up job!

I got there and Tracy, the barber squeezed me into his busy schedule. I would advise to call ahead and set an appointment during peak times. My haircut and shave were spot on! Workers were taking Covid/social distance precautions.

Mr. Wright was friendly, welcoming and gave me a fantastic haircut n perfect fade. Just moved to town but found my Barber here.
