The Wayward Parlor

I have had hair down to my tailbone for years and years and never the bravery to do anything different. I had been yearning for a change to make it easier to care for and more reflective of me, but I also had some pretty strict needs for a haircut. Alana listened to EVERYTHING I said and gave me a haircut that I absolutely ADORE - I don't think it could be more perfect. She didn't push products or services on me like some other places do, her pricing is super reasonable, and bonus: there's an adorable cat on the premises! Thank you so much Alana!

The good: stylist was very friendly and welcoming, made me feel very comfortable. Got a free sticker The bad: 100 bucks to get the back of my head completely butchered and my ends are so uneven it’s insane. My hair was very long coming in and it’s definitely on the flatter thinner side and I’m not holding that against her, I told her that before we started. And while the curtain bangs in the front look exactly how I wanted them to it gets progressively worse as you go around to the back. I would have said something in the moment but didn’t notice it until first wash :(, at least it’s salvageable.

I just had service with Verissa. She is so awesome! Verissa was knowledgeable and was patience. I did not feel rushed. I look forward to my healthy hair journey with her, and already booked my next appointment. The salon had a magical shampoo room. My cut was awesome & it was clean and everyone including Madi was very friendly. They have a great team there. Worth my drive and visit!

If I could give 10 stars I would give them! I made a mistake when I booked my appointment online and call them and the lady fixed right away with no drama. I got to work with Robins S and she is phenomenal. She is friendly and welcoming. I love how she style my hair. My curls look a lot healthier and I fell great about the results. So happy I could find this salon near me.
