If I could say Zero stars I would. I just tried to read an article about Walton Co storm aftermath since I have family there. I signed up for an account and was prompted that I need to purchase a subscription to read the article. I clicked online subscription only to find out if you want it for one day it’s $1.99. But 30 days is $10.00 = .33 cents a day. You could charge .50 cents a day and make a profit. Talk about price gouging!

This is a great local paper that keeps up with the issues and events in Walton County, Georgia. It has a bi-weekly release schedule and features news, opinions, great local sports coverage, and event notices. I absolutely recommend this paper, either in its print or online form.

This is my county newspaper. They are a pretty small time operation. I guess I had gotten spoiled by the Gwinnett Post having lived in Gwinnett county for years. It's taken me a while to get used to a bi-weekly paper with a smaller online presence. I'm now starting to get accustomed to the charm and simplicity of a small country newspaper.

I never find what i need easily even though the website is basic. I will just have to avoid it.
