I feel it’s important to add context because I personally witnessed parts of this interaction. When you arrived, you were already 15 minutes late without notice, and Val still chose to service you after finishing with her on-time client. At one point, you clapped your hands at her to try to get her to hurry up, which I found very disrespectful. What may not have been visible to you is that she had been there since early that morning, had not eaten, had not taken a single break yet she still chose to accommodate you. She doesn’t just style your hair she caters to your specific needs and creates an entire experience filled with warmth, laughter, and great conversation. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and uplifting, making you feel like you’re among friends. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares for your locs as if they’re her own, Valeria is amazing. I got a retwist for my locs and from the moment I walked in, she was so welcoming. Her energy and spirit were truly amazing. We connected on so many levels, and hearing about her faith and her story really touched me. Not only did I leave with my locs looking the best they’ve ever looked, but I also left with a new perspective on faith and life in general. Very bad experience. I had a 1:00 PM appointment and arrived 15 minutes late, but she was still with another client. The appointment took two hours longer than she said. Her attitude was rude, and she kept stopping to use her phone during my service. The passion twists looked terrible. She does not know how to do them. I bought the hair myself, she cut it into pieces, little pieces, and by the next day the braids were already coming undone. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
