I scheduled a 1:00 PM appointment with the owner, Porsha, for a semi-wash, retwist, and pipe cleaner style. Prior to the appointment, she texted me, I responded, but didn’t hear back from her until about 30 minutes before the appointment. At that point, she asked if I could come early. When I arrived, she informed me she had scheduled an emergency dentist appointment at 1:30 PM. I was understanding and offered to return at a later time that worked better for her. Instead, she suggested starting my hair and finishing it after her appointment, explaining that I might have to wait longer if I left due to other clients coming in. ⭐☆☆☆☆ – unprofessional & a waste of my time i follow the owner on socials & see that she had what appears to be loyal clientele and her work always looks nice. i reached out to her about a style & booked exactly what she told me to book. even left a note saying i wasn’t sure—just tryna be clear. i reached out several times asking what kind of hair i needed. barely got a response, and when i did, it was vague. she didn’t say anything real until the day before my appointment, which gave me no time to get what i needed. i asked for a refund and that’s when she finally decided to explain that i apparently booked the wrong service and the style i wanted was $600. that could’ve been said days ago when i first asked. instead, i got blamed for messaging her “on the wrong page”—even though that’s

Worst experience I’ve ever had . The lady was unprofessional. Was late , all in my real hair while eating didn’t wipe off her hands . Left the shop for 30-40 minutes and wasn’t even done with my hair . Didn’t show me anything in the mirror and wanted her payment as soon as she was done . Couldn’t even wear the install because it was done horribly , wasted my time and money .

I live in New Bern, but I go to Kinston to do my hair. Why? Since I left Florida, never found anybody qualified to do my hair how I used to, some of them are bad with style, etc. I was searching for locs repair on Google and I found them, so I said let me try them, and I booked with Quira, she did my hair, she is very talented, I love her work and the owner also is a nice lady. This is my second time there, and I will go every 2 months now to do my hair.

When I say I have had the best experience in my life. That's what I mean. Never seen a beauty salon so well put together a d employees are soooo friendly. The owner is so friendly it's definitely a vibe. Will be going back every 2 weeks lord there the best.
