The team at The Velvet Braid Lounge is truly top tier. Sese does exceptional work. I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, so my scalp needs extra care whenever I wear braids, and she is always mindful of that. My go-to styles are the small and smedium knotless braids, and she executes them beautifully every time. She also services my daughter, who plays sports, and I wholeheartedly thank her for taking that weight off my shoulders. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming. I had an amazing experience at The Velvet Braid Lounge in North Little Rock on Maumelle Blvd! I recently got a two cornrow style and I absolutely love it. The braider (Se-Se) was professional, gentle, and very precise with my parts and edges. My braids are neat, clean, and not too tight — exactly how I wanted them. The salon is upscale, clean, and welcoming. You can tell they care about both the quality of their work and the client experience. I will definitely be back and highly recommend The Velvet Braid Lounge to anyone looking for professional braiding services.
