The Up & Up Salon

This salon is every curly haired girl's dream. The process from start to finish is designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible and they excel at doing that. They take time to listen to how you style your curls and what your hair goals are. Destiny is an amazing stylist and such a nice person in general. She knows exactly what I am asking for and my hair turns out looking better than I even expected. I recommend this salon to anyone and everyone.

Adyson always does an incredible job with my cuts, colors, and styles 🙂. She’s very attentive and gentle with my hair. The stylists are all very welcoming and friendly. I always enjoy my appointments and leave satisfied.

I moved to St Louis in August and picked Up and Up salon.off the yelp reviews and location. I could not be happier! Catie and Adyson are absolutely amazing! Color is exactly what I was looking for ( without even knowing it). They do such a good job of educating me about products and my new-found curly hair. So thankful I found this salon and Catie. She does some kind of voodoo magic to my hair and brings mu curls to life! Highly recommend Up and Up salon-and most especially ask for Catie.

Let me first say Destiny is AMAZING. I am a 4c curly girl so I was a bit nervous scheduling an appointment as a new client and a 1st time curly cut. Over the course of a year, I have now visited the salon 4 times. Destiny did my first cut and nailed it, but the struggle was the lack of knowledge in how to style 4c textured hair, however, she did ok. My next appointment I had to reschedule so I didn't get Destiny. This visit, I have to be honest made me want to cry, but I lived with the color and cut and decided to make my next appoint with Destiny only. I met with her again and went over my previous visit experience with her. She listened and made me feel like whatever issues I am encountering with having a knowledgeable stylist she would do anything within reason to help me overc

Working with Kiki has genuinely been life-changing. For most of my life, I didn’t even realize I had wavy/curly hair until my consultation with her. She’s incredibly patient, thorough in her explanations, and so easy to talk to. That goes for the entire staff as well — the environment is warm, inviting, and never intimidating. The service itself is extremely thorough and feels tailored to each person’s unique hair needs, which is so important when you’re looking for a salon you can trust. The products they use are high quality, and there’s a great variety depending on your hair type, color, and goals. I’m really grateful to have found this place, and especially Kiki. I feel like I finally understand my hair.
