The Union Barber shop

I visited this shop for a haircut, and while the staff were very respectful and took good care of me, the actual haircut was disappointing. They seemed unsure how to work with scissors: most of the hour was spent trimming and shaving rather than giving a true haircut. I specifically asked for a scissor cut, and it felt like they only used the scissors because I insisted—even then, they barely snipped the tips. It came across more as pretending to use scissors than actually cutting hair. Communication was also challenging; it was difficult to explain what I wanted and to understand their responses, which added to the frustration. Have gotten a cut from 3 different dudes here and never a bad cut. Moved away and came back to get a cut from a 4th guy, Joel, and still the quality for the price can't be beat. And I'm super particular about my haircuts.

Wow, would HIGHLY recommend. I'm from out of town & needed a design/fix cut. Read reviews & went. Just overall really impressed. Very professional, quick, precise, clean. While I waited I watched how swift& gentle the barber was with trimming & shaving a beard. Changing clipper heads like a Navy SEAL reloading a clip on his rifle & hit his target every time. By far one of the best haircuts I've gotten in a very, very, very long time. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a FRESH cut, great atmosphere, good people & of course a FAIR price for the services they preform.
