The Takeover Barbershop

where do i even start… i had a set appointment for 2:15 with Andre when i was unprofessionally asked if i could have my hair cut by the other barber, i said no and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. When i finally sat in the chair Andre asked me little to no questions and told me he knew exactly what to do after i showed him a reference VIDEO. The pictures added show my hair after leaving. my hairline on my neck was uneven and i had 4 inch long pieces of hair coming out of different spots on my head. On top of that, the haircut took 15 minutes and he put zero effort into my haircut. He completely ignored my reference video and did a half assed cut. completely unprofessional i wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Angie and Andre at the Takeover Barbershop are great!! Angie has cut my hair since I moved up to Traverse City 2 years ago and has always done an incredible job. They are fun and provide a great atmosphere with the music and banter. Located in an easy walk from most of downtown and very very reasonable pricing!

My boy Andre is the best barber around! Since I’ve found him I haven’t went anywhere else. I drive an hour just to get my cut from him. Worth it hands down!! He’s the G.O.A.T
