The Strand Salon and Spa

Emily is the reason I keep coming back. She pays attention to the details, genuinely cares about her clients, and she is incredibly talented. I’ve been consistently happy with every haircut always a have wonderful experience. Thank you Emily!

I went to The Strand recently and had such a good experience. I saw Madison for a cut and color, and she seriously nailed it. Madison really listened to what I wanted, and made sure I left with exactly the look I was hoping for. My hair feels healthier, looks amazing, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already. She also always takes her time and never rushes through anything, which I really appreciated. Overall, just a super great experience. I’ll definitely be going back!

Took my 2 year old there for a 1st haircut. We were super excited because FIRST haircut! Kids haircuts here are supposed to be like 20-25 minutes. She was well behaved and stayed still. Stylist was quiet. Terse. Didn’t seem to understand the importance of a first haircut. After 5 minutes (I checked the time because I couldn’t believe it! FIVE minutes!), my little girl walked out with a bowl haircut. We haven’t been back since (my kid or me). We went to a different salon a month later where she got layers and face framing and left absolutely beaming. Don’t take kids here.

I had an appointment scheduled with 2 individuals. One of them left the practice and they canceled my whole appointment without telling me. They didn't even offer a $10 off a later appointment coupon or anything for their error. I'm getting married in two days and now can't find anyone else who could offer a haircut before then. I'm extremely disappointed. They wished me a happy wedding day at least I guess.

Madison is the absolute best! She has been cutting & coloring my hair for YEARS now! (along with my husband, mother, trainer, and so many of my clients) I joke I am her walking billboard as I get so many compliments of the cut & color all the time! I also have a short hair due that is NOT easy for anyone else to style - so if you have hair that has dimension she knows how to work it! You can't go wrong with her! (She also is just a great person so that always makes your experience that much better!)
